Pearkite is a matchmaking service for adults 18 and older who live in New York City. Right now it’s a free waitlist with a voice interview. Matching and intros start when your batch opens.
These terms cover the waitlist and the interview. The founding month, if you buy it, comes with a signed contract, and where the two differ, the contract wins.
The waitlist
Joining is free. You tell us your email, your date of birth, your gender, who you’d like to meet, and your borough. We work out your age from your date of birth and keep only the age. We start your age range and first-date distance from these, and you can change them in your profile. Tell us the truth: your intros depend on it.
We open the waitlist in batches, one segment at a time, such as one borough and age range, once enough people in it fit each other. We can’t promise when your batch will open. Until it does, we make no intros and nobody sees your profile. We’ll email you when it opens.
The interview
The interviewer is an AI, and it says so. The interview takes about 15 minutes, in four short parts. You can talk or type, stop between parts, and redo any part. Voice time is capped at 20 minutes a month, and typing is always open.
Before the first part, we ask your written consent to send your answers to our AI provider. Skip your last name, address, workplace, phone number, and anything financial. The matchmaker doesn’t need them, and we remove contact details from what we save.
The founding month
Optional. $29.99, charged once, for your first month of membership with 2 intros. The month starts the day we email you that your batch has opened. Nothing renews: to continue after it, you’d sign a new contract.
You sign the founding contract electronically before you pay. It includes two copies of the Notice of Cancellation, and the Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights comes with it. We email you a copy, and it stays in Account.
Cancel with no fee within 3 business days after the date of the contract. After that, the founding month isn’t refundable except as the contract provides. If no batch has opened by January 31, 2027, every founding payment is refunded automatically.
The founding month is for people who live in the five boroughs. Everyone pays the same price, whatever their gender and whoever they’d like to meet.
The founding month is in test mode right now: signing starts it without a charge. These terms apply from the first real charge.
Holds
Put your membership on hold for up to 1 year from Account, and end the hold any time. During a hold we make no intros, and a founding month doesn’t start or run.
Safety
Before anyone gets an intro, we check a government ID and a recent photo. Read the safety tips before you meet anyone, and meet in public.
Fair use
One account per person, for your own use. Be 18 or older, live where you say you live, and keep sign-in links to yourself.
Don’t use the service to harass, threaten, or deceive anyone, to ask anyone for money, to sell anything, or to collect other members’ details. We may close an account that does. If it had a founding month, we refund it in full.
Your information
We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone without your prior written consent. Delete your account any time from Account, and we email you a certificate of deletion.
Your legal rights
New York law governs these terms. If the law gives you more rights than these terms do, you keep them, including every right in the Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights.
