1. WHAT YOU’RE BUYING

Pearkite is a matchmaking service, a social referral service under section 394-c of the New York General Business Law, for adults 18 and older who live in New York City. This contract makes you a founding member.

Your founding month includes 2 intros: introductions to other members, chosen by the matchmaker from your interview and the preferences you gave us. Your founding month is the 30 days starting on the day we email you that your batch has opened.

Until your batch opens, you’re on the waitlist. We make no intros, and no other member sees your profile. We can’t promise when your batch will open.

2. PRICE

The cash price is $29.99, charged once when you sign. It’s the only charge under this contract. Nothing renews, and we won’t charge you again. If you’d like to continue after your founding month, we’ll ask you first, and continuing would take a new contract that you sign.

Every member pays the same price, whatever their gender and whoever they’d like to meet.

3. HOW LONG THIS CONTRACT LASTS

This contract starts on the date of transaction above. It ends when your founding month ends, or earlier if you cancel or we refund you, and in any case no later than 2 years after the date of transaction. If it reaches that limit before you’ve had both intros, we refund $29.99 less $14.99 for each intro already furnished to you.

4. INTROS

We will furnish 2 intros in your founding month. If we’ve furnished fewer than 2 by the end of it, your founding month continues at no charge until we have, for as long as this contract lasts.

Founding members are first in line: when your batch opens, we make founding members’ intros before intros for members of that batch who aren’t founding members.

We check every member’s government ID and a recent photo before their first intro. You decide whether to meet anyone we introduce.

5. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS

You may cancel this contract without any cancellation fee within 3 business days after the date of this contract, that is, through Thursday, October 29, 2026. See the attached Notice of Cancellation. Send it signed and dated by email to support@pearkite.com, or by certified or registered United States mail to 92 Corporate Park, Ste C #1094, Irvine, CA 92606. Or cancel in one click in Account at https://pearkite.com/account.

If you cancel, we return your payment within 10 business days after we receive your notice. Cancelling in Account sends the refund right away.

6. REFUNDS

After the cancellation period above, the founding month isn’t refundable, except as this section and section 9 provide.

If no batch has opened by January 31, 2027, end of day New York time, we refund the full $29.99 automatically, and this contract ends.

Missed intros: if your founding month ends before we’ve furnished 2 intros, you may cancel at any time after that and get back everything you paid, less the cancellation fee in section 7.

Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show them.

7. HOW WE FIGURE THE CANCELLATION FEE

If you cancel because we didn’t furnish your intros, we keep a cancellation fee: the greater of 15% of the cash price ($4.49) or a pro rata amount for the intros already furnished to you ($14.99 for each intro, which is the $29.99 cash price divided by the 2 intros in your founding month). Both amounts are rounded down, and the fee is never more than you paid. There is no fee within 3 business days after the date of the contract.

8. HOW FAR YOU’LL TRAVEL

When you join, you tell us how far you’re willing to travel to meet an intro: 2, 5, 10, or 25 miles, and your contract states it. We won’t introduce you to anyone who lives farther from you than that, or farther than the distance that member chose. To change it, write to us.

9. IF YOU MOVE AWAY

We serve the five boroughs of New York City: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. If you move to live permanently outside them, tell us in writing. We’ll refund $29.99 less $14.99 for each intro already furnished to you (the full $29.99 if you haven’t had one, $15.00 after one), and this contract ends on the day we get your notice.

10. PUTTING YOUR MEMBERSHIP ON HOLD

You may put your membership on hold for up to 1 year by telling us in writing: use Hold in Account, or email us. During a hold we make no intros, and your founding month doesn’t start or run. We may agree with you in writing to a longer hold, up to 2 years. You can end a hold at any time.

11. YOUR INFORMATION

We will not sell, assign, or otherwise transfer, for business or any other purpose, to any person any information or material of a personal or private nature that we get from you, directly or indirectly, including your answers to the interview and our questions, photographs, and background information, without your prior written consent.

Before your interview starts, we ask your written consent to send your answers to our AI provider, OpenAI, to run the interview and write your private matchmaking notes.

We’ll ask your written consent again before your ID or photo goes to any ID-check provider.

12. WHEN THIS CONTRACT ENDS

When this contract ends, or our services to you end, for any reason, we’ll promptly delete from our systems all information and material of a personal or private nature that we got from you, including your interview answers, photographs, and background information, and email you a certificate of deletion. If you’d rather have it returned to you by certified mail, tell us. We keep only what a law, rule, regulation, or court order requires us to keep.

If you’d like to stay on the free waitlist after this contract ends, tell us in writing, for example by choosing it in Account when you cancel. We’ll then keep your waitlist information for the free waitlist until you delete your account.

13. NOTHING ELSE TO BUY

We don’t require you to buy any other goods or services, such as photography, styling, or dating coaching, to get or keep this membership.

14. SAFETY

Read our dating safety tips at https://pearkite.com/safety before you meet anyone. Never send money or financial information to anyone you meet through a dating service.

15. YOUR RIGHTS

The Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights comes with this contract at https://pearkite.com/contract/bill-of-rights. If any provision of this contract is violated, you have the right to bring a court action against us. New York law governs this contract.

16. NOTICES AND CONTACT

SIGNING ELECTRONICALLY

You agree to sign this contract electronically, by typing your name, and to get it, the Notice of Cancellation, and the Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights electronically, on this site and by email. You can ask for paper copies at no charge by writing to support@pearkite.com, and withdraw this consent the same way. Withdrawing it doesn’t cancel the contract. To open them, you need a device with a web browser and email.

YOU, THE BUYER, MAY CANCEL THIS CONTRACT WITHOUT ANY CANCELLATION FEE WITHIN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF THIS CONTRACT. SEE THE ATTACHED NOTICE OF CANCELLATION FORM FOR AN EXPLANATION OF THIS RIGHT.
